Eligibility Criteria:
a) Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (for SC/ST/ PC – 50%)in aggregate from a University recognised by Government of India.Computer qualification like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course / certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. essential for PO.
b) Degree in Engineering in the respective field of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a University/Institute recognized by Govt.of India for Technical Officer.
c) Graduate of any recognized university with a pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for CA.
d) Degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science/IT or MCA from a University/Institute recognized by Govt.of India for EDP Officer.
e) Age as on 01.01.2010 Min. 21 yrs. and Max.30 years for PO and Technical Officer, 32 for CA and EDP officer(Scale II) and 35 years for EDP Officer MMG Scale III.
f) Application fee Rs. 400/- for general category and Rs 50/- for SC/ST, to be paid along with application by means of Demand Draft or Pay Order favouring Punjab & Sind Bank- Recruitment Project 2010-Probationary Officers payable at‘Mumbai’only for post code 1 and Punjab & Sind Bank- Recruitment Project 2010-Specialist Officers payable at ‘Mumbai’ only for post codes 2 to 7.

Probation:
Post codes 01 to 04: Two years
Post codes 05 to 07: One Year

Mode of Selection:
The Written Test (Objective Tests + Descriptive Paper). The Objective Tests consisting of (1) Test of Reasoning Ability, (2) Test of Numerical Ability, (3) Test of English Language, (4) English Language and Descriptive Paper of English Composition.(for post code 1) or English Language and Descriptive Paper of Professional Knowledge(For Post Code 02 to 07) (5) Test of Computer knowledge. Descriptive Paper on English Comprehension is for Qualifying Test only. Written will be followed by an interview.
